Samsung Galaxy Note 2 vs Samsung Galaxy Note - Display Resolution Comparison


(GSM Insider) - The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (II) announced at the IFA 2012 a week ago as Samsung continue to flood the market with their devices. This is the third devices in the Galaxy Note series after the original Galaxy Note and Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet. Samsung agreed that the PenTile displays will bring improve for the display and allows the display for longer life. There are many expectations on the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 whether it comes with PenTile display or not. But the answer seems disappointed as the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 turns out not to be PenTile after all. Samsung chose for RGB matrix instead of the PenTile display. Actually many fans had figure out that the Galaxy Note 2 shows a lower PPI than the original Galaxy Note. This is because of the screen size of 5.5 inch and 5.3 inch. The 5.3 inch of original Galaxy Note shows 285PPI and the 5.5 inch of Galaxy Note 2 shows 265PPI. The larger screen caused the PPI to lower in the Galaxy Note 2. 

You might think the PPI is lower than the original Galaxy Note is a bad thing. You are wrong. The RGB matrix of Galaxy Note 2 is uniquely arranged which is a significant upgrade compared to the older Galaxy Note. No matter what you think of the Note 2. The truth is here. The screen larger and the PPI is lower.
