(GSM Insider) - Apple announced the iPhone 5. But there are not much people that impressed by it. Seems like there not much differences in design between iPhone 5 and iPhone 4S unless it became taller than the older iPhone. The screen becomes 4 inch in size. Perhaps you might disappointed with the iPhone 5 as it missed out a lot of features that available on other smartphones.
Here are top 7 features that missing out by Apple iPhone 5:
Near field communication (NFC):
Apple showed off Passbook in the past, but failed to integrate NFC into their latest smartphone. It is kinda disappointed with it. Samsung Galaxy S3 (S III) and Nokia Lumia 920 comes with NFC. But the latest iPhone 5 does not has it? Disappointed.
Wireless charging
Still remember that Samsung Galaxy S3 (S III) comes with wireless charging kit? And recently Nokia makes its Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 come with wireless charging. iPhone 5 will be better with wireless charging as no more messy wire is require.
Better camera:
The camera of iPhone 5 and iPhone 4S are same at the 8-megapixel. It remains unknown why Apple never equipped iPhone 5 with better camera quality. Just look at LG Optimus G, Sony Xperia T and Sony Xperia V that come with 13-megapixel camera. How can iPhone 5 with such low resolution camera? iPhone 5 camera still miles away from the PureView on Nokia Lumia 920.
Longer Battery Life:
The stand-by time for iPhone 5 is approx 9 days after fully charged. This is not something very good for iPhone 5 that comes with LTE. LTE network consumed a lot of battery power. Apple opted for slimmer battery to let iPhone 5 thin. Perhaps battery with larger power but thicker design should integrated in iPhone 5. Thin does not mean the best yet.
iOS 6 remains the same
The iOS 6 remains the same like previously announced by Apple. Apple added Panaroma mode and driving directions into iOS 6. But groundbreaking features are not available in iOS 6.
Better Siri
There are a lot of Siri advertisements on the TV. These ads emphasized on Siri features. But the Siri not as useful as the you think. Many people stopped using Siri no long after they unpacked their iPhone 4S and New iPad. Its time for Apple to introduce better Siri that can assist human.
Accessories.
Apple used to introduce their gadgets along with accessories. Surprisingly, there are no bumper case from Apple iPhone 5. Tim Cook & co only announced the mini dock connector for iPhone 5. Where are those bumper case or special case for iPhone 5? Another disappointed decision from Apple yet.
