Nokia Set To Announce Low End Windows Phone 8 Device - Codename "Flame"


(GSM Insider) - Do you think Nokia done with Windows Phone 8 after announced the high end Lumia 920 and Lumia 920? You are wrong. As the strategic partner of Microsoft on Windows Phone operating system, it is impossible for Nokia to stop with just two new smartphones on hands. And now, sources said that Nokia working on low-end Windows Phone 8 devices.

One of the devices is codename "Flame". Just like the Lumia 920 and Lumia 820. Before they announced, they are carrying the codename of Arrow and Phi. The Nokia Flame is set to be in the range of Lumia 610. Sources said that it comes with 4″ display, 512MB of RAM, 1GHz dual-core processor, 5MP camera, and 4GB of storage. 

With the calender going to the end for this year, the possible launch date for this would be end of this year or beginning of next year. Yesterday we reported that Nokia CEO Stephen Elop interested in the tablet market as well. Anyway, low budget Windows Phone 8 from Nokia coming to you very soon.
