(GSM Insider) - HTC plans to return to tablet market after not satisfied with the performance of their smartphones. Recently, there are rumours said that HTC set to announce a 10.1 inch tablet. And now, HTC Flyer 2 surfaced.
According to source, HTC Flyer 2 set to come with metal body like the HTC One S. The size of HTC Flyer 2 is slimmer than the older Flyer. HTC Flyer 2 comes with the thickness of 7.1mm. Almost half the size of older Flyer.
The resolution of HTC Flyer 2 should be 1280 x 768 and running on the latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The interesting part is the camera of Flyer 2 will be lower quality compare to the older Flyer. Flyer 2 to come with 3MP rear camera and 1MP front camera. This is because HTC hope to cut cost and able introduce it as budget tablet.
Seems like HTC Flyer 2 is aiming toward the Google Nexus 7 tablet. Whether HTC Flyer 2 coming to us, we shall wait for the HTC press event on September 19th, 2012. [Source]
