(GSM Insider) - It has not been a good time for RIM as the introduction of Apple's iPhone and Android touchscreen smartphone brought the company to new low each year. RIM's BlackBerry traditionally came with QWERTY keyboard and running on their OS. But seems like consumers are more likely to go for Android and Apple iPhones expect for those in Canada, India and Indonesia.
RIM's financial reports not in the good balance as they suffered loss each quarter recently. So to balance their books, they look to sell off their cloud service provider NewBay and other assets as well. However, it is still unknown whether there are buyers willing to purchase NewBay.
RIM expected to launch BlackBerry 10 on early of next year but everything still on the progress. Whether the BlackBerry 10 will bring the company back to live. We shall wait and see. [Source]
