(GSM Insider) - Yes. This is another good news for Apple iPhone fans. The production of the in-cell displays enter the mass production stage. This time the displays are manufactured by LG Display as Apple decided not to use Samsung in the production of iPhone 5 displays due to lawsuit.
We had some hard times (in developing the new in-cell technology) at first...but it seems those hard times have finally ended," Han Sang-beom, LG Display's chief executive said on Wednesday.
"The in-cell technology is the industry's latest development. [But] we will be able to supply the panels without any fail," Mr. Han said.
