Earlier today, Sharp unveils its latest 1080p Full HD smartphone Sharp Aquos Phone SH930W at Taiwan. Taiwan is the third country for the arrival of Sharp Aquos Phone SH930W. Russia is the first country to get this smartphone followed by Hong Kong. 

Sharp Aquos Phone SH930W has a 5-inch display with 1080p Full HD resolution. However, the processor is a let down as it only a 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 MSM8960A dual-core. It has 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean on board.

Sharp Aquos Phone SH930W available at stores across Taiwan for NT$15,900 on mid-December. Anyone interested to purchase it?

(GSM Insider) - Sharp Aquos Phone SH930W is the latest smartphone that arrived at Hong Kong. It is the first ever 1080p Full HD smartphone landed on Hong Kong. So how it going on with other rivals in the market?

Sharp Aquos Phone SH930W has the best display resolution among all with 1920 x 1080 pixels then followed by Samsung Galaxy S3, HTC One X+ and Samsung Galaxy Note 2 with 1280 x 720 pixels. The lowest display resolution is LG Optimus VU with 1024 x 768 pixels. 

Sharp Aquos Phone SH930W and Samsung Galaxy Note 2 have 2GB of RAM while others all three have 1GB of RAM. All five devices have 8-megapixels rear camera. Samsung Galaxy Note has 3100mAh battery capacity which is the largest among others. 

LG Optimus VU and Samsung Galaxy S3 with Android 4.0 ICS preloaded while others all with 4.1 Jelly Bean.

Sharp Aquos Phone SH930W is not a powerful device because it has only a dual-core processor. The display resolution might be high but not for performance after all.

Sharp Set To Unveil Aquos Phone SH930W In Hong Kong Later Today

(GSM Insider) - The time for 1080p display coming soon in next year. Sharp Aquos Phone SH930W was among the first few smartphone with such high resolution. It was launched in Russia a few months back. Other 1080p smartphone included HTC J Butterfly and HTC Droid DNA.

According to Hong Kong media, Sharp Aquos Phone SH930W will launch in that country later today. 

Sharp Aquos Phone SH930W comes with 5-inch display with 1080p Full HD resolution. Although the display size is 5-inch but it has 9.1mm body. Very slim for the smartphone in such size. 

From the specs, Sharp Aquos Phone SH930W has a Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor along with 2GB of RAM. The GPU is Adreno 225 while the internal memory is 32GB in size. It runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. These specs are not powerful and rather disappointed. Seems like Sharp never put quad-core in their smartphone. 

The price of Sharp Aquos Phone SH930W in Hong Kong is yet to announce. After converted the price in the Russia, the price should be around RMB $4500.
