Microsoft Outlook First Ads Video Targets On Gmail

(GSM Insider) - As the Windows 8 operating system coming to your way, Microsoft working on major overhaul on its services so that they are matched with the operating system. The next come to attention is the email service provided by Microsoft. As we know that Microsoft email client known as the Hotmail.com as users can log in to Hotmail with Microsoft account. At Hotmail, users can use the SkyDrive and Live Messenger service. However, Microsoft decided to ditch the Hotmail and introduces new email, Outlook.com as their new email client. The Outlook.com is completely different with the Hotmail as not on the design changed and all the features changed as well.

The Outlook is clean and new as and independent email client as SkyDrive and Live Messenger no longer available at Outlook.com. What so important is the Outlook.com is free from annoying ads that compare to the Gmail with Google ads. In the first video ads of Outlook, Microsoft takes aim on Gmail:

At the ads, Microsoft targets the Gmail by accused them as the "Oldmail" with the interface that similar to the Gmail. As they described "Oldmail" as the email with “cluttered”, “redundant”, and “creepy ads”, While Microsoft described Outlook.com as the modern email as they highlighted those features:

• Connected
• Modern
• Smart & Powerful
Facebook
Twitter
• Skype
• Clean UI
• Intuitive
• Modern Devices
• Office
• Skydrive
• Sweep

Furthermore, Microsoft does demo the Skype integration with the Outlook.com as this feature coming soon to Outlook. Although Outlook.com is the "pure" email client, but it would be difficult for Gmail users switch to Outlook.com as most of the Gmail account related to Google products as one Gmail account can use for all Google products include the Android. If your are looking for pure email client than you can sign in with your Microsoft account or Google account as well because Outlook.com supports all email.
