(GSM Insider) - Samsung Officially Launches The REX Series Smartphones, Aiming For The Low End Market.
No doubt that the Samsung Galaxy Series is the most successful Android Series to-date. But Samsung has another idea as well. The new idea is the Samsung REX Series. The whole new smartphone series for the Korean company.
Basically, the Samsung REX Series is aiming for the low end market. Samsung hopes to challenge the Nokia Asha Series with this REX Series.
The four new smartphones from the REX Series is Samsung REX 60, Samsung REX 70, Samsung REX 80 and Samsung REX 90. Samsung REX 60 is a 2.8-inch device, Samsung REX 70 and Samsung REX 80 are 3-inch device while Samsung REX 90 features 3.2-inch display. The specs of Samsung REX Series are high end and targeting those affordable markets.
Samsung is yet to announce the release date and the pricing of these Samsung REX devices. But it is expected to arrive in India and China soon.
