(GSM Insider) - Huawei Has Plans For LTE Devices With Competitive Pricing In Near Future.
At the moment, the Huawei Ascend D2 and Huawei Ascend Mate are not supported to the LTE network globally. It is expected that the upcoming Huawei Ascend P2 will not support LTE network as well.
Perhaps the failure of Huawei smartphones in support for the LTE network is the main disadvantage for the China based company in the global market.
LG, Samsung, Motorola and Sony are among the companies that already manufacturing LTE devices for quite sometimes. But this isn't the case for Huawei and ZTE. But things will change soon.
According to Digitimes, Huawei is on its way to produce more LTE devices with competitive pricing in the near future. The future LTE devices will feature the LTE chip and processor from its subsidiary, HiSilicon. On the other hand, Taiwanese chip-maker MediaTek is set to roll out LTE chip solution by end of 2013 or early 2014.
