At the Mobile World Congress 2013, Hewlett-Packard (HP) unveils its first ever Android tablet: HP Slate 7. It was the first time HP returns to the tablet since the WebOS that was launched a few years before.

HP Slate 7 is a 7-inch low budget tablet. It features a 7-inch display with 1024 x 600 resolution, dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory, 3-megapixels rear-facing camera and VGA quality front camera.
Other specs of HP Slate 7 include WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, a MicroSD slot and other standard Android features. HP Slate 7 runs on the latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

HP Slate 7 is priced at $169. So the target is on the Google Nexus 7 and Acer Iconia B1 with similar price range. This table sets to on sale in the America on April 2013.
