(GSM Insider) - RIM Considers Licensing BlackBerry 10 Platform.
According to RIM CEO Thorsten Heins, RIM indeed considers in licensing out the BlackBerry 10 platform. But nothing is concrete yet. He added that RIM has to show the potential of BlackBerry 10 before licensing out to third party manufacturer.
At the moment, the smartphone market is dominates by Apple and Android. The third rising power is Windows Phone. It remains spectacular on whether BlackBerry 10 able to challenge the leader. But the RIM CEO remains confidence on its own operating system.
