(GSM Insider) - Veteran AMD Exec Michael Goddard Quits, Joining Samsung As VP and System Architect
Michael Goddard is the latest employee that joins the exodus from AMD. In the past few months, AMD struggling to hold on the talents in the company and the company on the declining as well.
According to LinkedIn, Michael Goddard joined AMD since 1988. He was corporate VP for product design engineering and chief engineer on client products. However, he is now the VP and system architect of Samsung in Austin, Texas.
The employees stated that AMD does not force Michael Goddard out from the company as he was contributed a lot to the company in the past. No party able to contact him for any comment. He started his job at Samsung this month.
The vast experiences of Michael Goddard in chips and processor definitely able to help Samsung in its own Exynos processor. Lets hope for better Exynos coming soon.
