(GSM Insider) - Mysterious Intel Made "Redhookbay" Device Spotted At Benchmark
Seems like Intel not only preparing for the mobile processor market but also interested in getting into the smartphone market as well. In the latest benchmark results suggested that that it is indeed that Intel preparing device.
Nenamark2 Benchmark and AnTuTu Benchmark show off another mysterious device from Intel known as the "Redhookbay". Off course this is definitely the codename or prototype name for the device. Manufacturers always gave some codenames to device before launch into the market with official names.
From the Nenamark2 Benchmark, the Intel Redhookbay device has 720p HD display and PowerVR SGX 544MP GPU. The Android version is 4.2.1 Jelly Bean which is the latest version. The CPU frequency is 1.6GHz.
From AnTuTu Benchmark, the Intel Redhookbay device appeared as well. The AnTuTu Benchmark shows similar information like the Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean as well. But the CPU frequency is 2GHz.
The conclusion is this Intel Redhookbay device comes with 1.6GHz - 2GHz of Intel Atom processor, Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean, 720p HD display and PowerVR SGX 544MP GPU.
This Intel Redhookbay expected to make its appearance at MWC 2013 at Barcelona on February 2013.
