(GSM Insider) - Vivo X1 is the world's thinnest smartphone after it was unveiled yesterday. It overtakes the Oppo Finder and took the throne without hesitation. However, the specs are not impressive after all because it is a middle range smartphone.
From the AnTuTu Benchmark, the processor in Vivo X1 is the MT6577 from MTK. It is a dual-core processor. The display resolution is 540 x 960 pixels. The GPU of Vivo X1 is PowerVR SGX 531. The RAM memory in Vivo X1 is 2GB large. The camera is 8 mega-pixels and the Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean on board.
At the AnTuTu Benchmark, Vivo X1 scores 6592 points. These points are not impressive after all. The Vivo X1 is better than Samsung Galaxy Note, Samsung Galaxy S2 and LG Optimus 2X. This is because Vivo X1 is a dual-core smartphone.
For the Quadrant benchmark result, Vivo X1 scores 3226 points. It is better than Motorola ATRIX 4G, Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, Samsung Galaxy Nexus and LG Optimus 2X. Off course this Vivo X1 unable to compete with those quad-core device like HTC One X.
These benchmark results clearly showed us the performance of Vivo X1 is not up to compete with those leading smartphones. But it has the ultra slim body with Hi-Fi music features. If you are a music fan, definitely you want this as you device. It priced at RMB $2499.
