Huawei Teases New Device With Quad-Core and 2GB RAM, Is It The Huawei Honor 2?

(GSM Insider) - Earlier, Olympics gold medallist Ye Shi Wen from China posted about the upcoming new Huawei smartphone. She posted a photo which is captured by the mysterious Huawei smartphone. There are rumours stated that mysterious Huawei smartphone is known as the Huawei Honor 2. 



In the latest news, it is said that Huawei set to unveil the mysterious Huawei smartphone on October 29, 2012. In order for Huawei to release a smartphone which is able to fulfill the consumer needs, Huawei posted a survey on its website. Here are some of the questions from the survey:

1. Processor - a. 1.5GHz dual-core b. 1.2GHz quad-core
2. Standby time: a. 24 hours b. 48 hours
3. RAM: a. 1GB b. 2GB
4. Camera: a. 5MP b. 8MP
5 display size: a. 4.3 inches and above b. 4.5 inches and above

The survey wants the users to determine the specs of the coming Huawei smartphone. If you are Huawei fans, will you voted for lower specs? Its not likely you will vote for lower specs. 

Our friends from China told us that these are the possible specs for the Huawei Honor 2. The processor of Huawei Honor 2 is K3V2 quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 2 mega-pixel camera shooter and 4.5 inches of display with 720p HD resolution. The battery capacity is said to be at least 4000mAh. 

From those leaked specs, the rumours are fulfil the survey release by Huawei which is 48 hours of standby time with 4000mAh battery, 2GB of RAM and at least 4.5 inches of display. Huawei set the date same day with the Android event 2012. Can we see Huawei Honor 2 comes with Android 4.2? Maybe.
