(GSM Insider) - There are numerous rumours stated that Google not going to allow Samsung as the sole manufacturer of their Nexus smartphone. Google is seeking for more manufacturers to produce their fourth generation Nexus smartphone.
Recently, there are rumours stated that LG Mobile interested to produce their own LG Optimus Nexus and Sony Mobile going to produce their own Sony Xperia Nexus. From leaked document days ago, we spotted that Sony Mobile ready to launch Xperia Nexus with NFC technology.
Almost a year ago, Samsung announced their own Samsung Galaxy Nexus. As one year passed, another Nexus smartphone on the way from Samsung. From the leaked document, we can see that one device with the model number of GT-i9260 with the name of Nexus. It could be the possible Google Nexus 4 smartphone.
The Samsung GT-i9260 Nexus comes with 4.65 inch Super AMOLED HD display, 1.5 dual-core processor, 8 MP rear camera, 1.9 MP front camera, 16GB ROM with microSD expansion. However, there are some doubts on the Samsung GT-i9260 Nexus. How would Google allows Samsung to build their Nexus on dual-core processor instead of the quad-core? And the camera with 8MP certainly not high enough for a flagship.
Perhaps the Samsung GT-i9260 Nexus will name as Samsung Galaxy Nexus 2 or Samsung Nexus S. But one thing pretty sure that the 4th generation Nexus smartphone will be running on either 4.1 Jelly Bean or 4.2 Key Lime Pie. Stay tuned for more updates! [Source]
