(GSM Insider) - Today is August 16, the day of XiaoMi event as we expect XiaoMi to announce their XiaoMi Phone 2. As a rising star in the China market, XiaoMi certainly caught the eyes of many locals and foreigners. Huawei 华为 is siting at the top of the most popular China brand ahead of XiaoMi and ZTE. And today, they announce three new smartphones that coming soon - Huawei i 享, Huawei Ascend D1 XL and Huawei Ascend D1 White Colour Version. Huawei did briefly introduce the specifications of those three smartphones.
Firstly, Huawei i 享 is a quad-core smartphone that showed on the image above. Huawei i 享 is a traditional touchscreen smartphone with simple design. Huawei i 享 specifications comes with 1.2 GHz Hisilicon K3V2 Hi3620 quad-core processor, 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM. Huawei i 享 is the first smartphone that coming with China own made quad-core processor.
The Hisilicon quad-core processor developed according to the ARM cortex-A9 SMP IP technology. In addition, it comes with 4.5 inch display with 720p resolution. 8MP rear camera with 1080p HD recording function. The battery comes with 2200mAh. Off course, Huawei i 享 running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
Aside from the Huawei i 享. Another smartphone from Huawei is the Huawei Ascend D1 XL. Huawei Ascend D1 XL is upgraded version of Huawei Ascend D1. The Huawei Ascend D1 XL comes with larger power battery compare to the Huawei Ascend D1 - 2600mAh. Which is 30% more power than the Huawei Ascend D1. This is similar to the Motorola DROID RAZR and Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX. Aside from larger battery, the specs of Huawei Ascend D1 XL are similar with the Huawei Ascend D1.
The third smartphone is the Huawei Ascend D1 White Colour Version. Huawei added another colour for its Huawei Ascend D1 smartphone. This could provides another choice for the consumer to consider when purchase Huawei smartphone.
According to Huawei, Huawei i 享 available to pre-order at the beginning of September, while the Huawei Ascend D1 White Colour Version and Huawei Ascend D1 XL available at etailers at the end of August. However, there are no news from Huawei about the prices of Huawei i 享, Huawei Ascend D1 XL and Huawei Ascend D1 White Colour Version.
