(GSM Insider) - Seems like more and more companies interested to run Qualcomm's Snapdragon S4 Pro processor in their devices. Firstly is the XiaoMi Phone 2 from China that used Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 (looks impressive with benchmarks). And recently, the LG also using the same processor for their next flagship. And now, BlackBerry interested to use Snapdragon S4 Pro in their upcoming BlackBerry 10.
Sources stated that the BB10 smartphones set to come with Qualcomm's Snapdragon S4 Pro MSM8960T processor. The S4 Pro MSM8960T is a 1.5GHz Dual Krait and an ARM based CPU for HD resolution and multitasking.
Furthermore, The Adreno 320 GPU delivers WUXGA 1080p video performance and out performs most other mobile GPU's in the market today. The chip includes full "World Mode," as it supports LTE FDD/TDD CAT 3, SVLTE-DB, TD-SCDMA, Rel9 DCHSPA+, GSM/GPRS/EDGE, EGAL, 1x Adv., and 1x EV-DO Rev. A/B.
Can you imagine the power of BB10? However, we expect the BB10 to come in the Q2 of 2013. Its still long way to go before RIM introduce something that can turn their company around. [Source]
