Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G Receives Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Update

(GSM Insider) - Good news for the users of Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G on T-Mobile as T-Mobile starts to roll out the ICS update for your device starts from today. Perhaps you might think 4.1 Jelly Bean is better than ICS, but the update is certainly better the current Android on your smartphone.




Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G is currently running on the 2.3 Gingerbread version. The 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich certainly brings new experience for the users. Three Galaxy Note II Phablets For AT&T, T-Mobile And Verizon Arrive At FCC

(GSM Insider) - Samsung already kicked off its Galaxy Note II World Tour at beginning of this week. We knew that it is the latest phablet from Samsung Mobile. And now, Samsung Galaxy Note II coming to the major carriers in the United States

Samsung Galaxy Note II for Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile visited FCC

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 for these three major carriers have different model numbers. Galaxy Note 2 for AT&T is SGH-i317, Galaxy Note 2 for Verizon is SGH-i605 and Galaxy Note 2 for T-Mobile is SGH-i889. All three Galaxy Note 2 variants come with LTE support. 

At the moment, T-Mobile is yet to launch their LTE network. Galaxy Note 2 SGH-i889 is LTE enabled because T-Mobile hopes that it will compatible to their network that launched in next year. Although all those are same with global version of Samsung Galaxy Note 2, carriers name are expected to be printed on the home button of the devices.

Samsung Galaxy S Relay 4G Handset Leaks, Heading To T-Mobile

(GSM Insider) - There are much rumours on this particular Samsung Galaxy S Relay 4G smartphone. And now, the handset of Samsung Galaxy S Relay 4G leaks. This is another device that heading to T-Mobile.



From the image, we can clearly see the T-Mobile brand of the top of the device. This Samsung Galaxy S Relay 4G is a touchscreen slider smartphone. In other words, you can you the screen and using the QWERTY keyboard slider to type as well. Good for those who opted for both features.

HTC 8X Windows Phone 8 Coming To T-Mobile on November 14, 2012




(GSM Insider) - The rumours of HTC Windows Phone 8 devices are getting hotter now. We just reported that HTC new smartphones to be call as HTC 8X, 8S, and 8V. And now sources pop up and tells us the HTC 8X coming to T-Mobile on November 14th. 

This is certainly another great news for T-Mobile subscribers as another new smartphone coming to your carrier. The HTC 8X set to come with 1.2Ghz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, an 4.7-inch 720p HD super LCD display, an 8-megapixel camera, NFC, microSD card slot, and Beats Audio. 

As HTC looking toward to build Windows Phone 8 as they want to avoid infringement of Apple patents with Android. Recently, HTC Chairman Cher Wang said they are not going to settle with Apple on the lawsuit. With Windows Phone 8, HTC able to low down the risks of being sued.  [Source]

The Samsung SGH-889 With Jelly Bean Is T-Mobile Galaxy Note 2


(GSM Insider) - A screen short from the device with model number of SGH-T889 leaks. It is said to be the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (II) for T-Mobile. 

From the leaked image above, we can see the model number is SGH-T889 and the Android version is 4.1 Jelly Bean. At the moment, there are not much devices that preloaded with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Although recently, we reported that Samsung Galaxy S3 (SIII) heading to Australia will preloaded with 4.1 Jelly Bean. But T-Mobile already selling their own version of Galaxy S3 (SIII). So it is illogical if we said this is the Galaxy S3 (SIII).

The answer must be the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 that recently announced by Samsung at the IFA 2012. Seems like another monster is heading to T-Mobile. This Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will provide a platform for T-Mobile to face off with rival Verizon. Verizon announced LG Intuition 4G LTE phablet on yesterday. We shall see the battle of LG Intuition 4G LTE and Samsung Galaxy Note.

From 1st name to 2nd name, the smartphone still using a suck name. The name is so long until it is hard to recall. However, the official images of Samsung Galaxy S Relay 4G now available.

Samsung Galaxy S Relay 4G Is The Real Name of Galaxy S Blaze Q



(GSM Insider) - With the name of Samsung Galaxy S Blaze Q gave wrongly, the launch date also gone wrong as well. There still no official news on the launch date of Samsung Galaxy S Blaze Q. And now the Samsung Galaxy S Blaze Q becomes Samsung Galaxy S Relay 4G. 

From the Samsung Galaxy S Relay 4G, we can at least expect the smartphone to be 4G enable. However, we make no clue on how Samsung and T-Mobile gave such a long name for a smartphone instead of a shorter and easy memorize name. Samsung Galaxy S Relay 4G or Samsung Galaxy S Blaze Q. Leaked Document Suggests Samsung SGH-T899 Could Become First Windows Phone 8 Device For T-Mobile



(GSM Insider) - In the past, T-Mobile USA confirmed that they will offer Windows Phone 8 device in the future. From the T-Mobile's leaked document, it hints that Samsung SGH-T899 could be the Windows Phone 8 device for T-Mobile. At the moment, we only know the code name of Samsung SGH-T899.

From the User Agent Profile, the Samsung SGH-T899 comes with Internet Explorer. Internet Explorer hints us that the Samsung SGH-T899 running on Windows Phone 8. In addition, the Samsung SGH-T899 to come with HD display and 4G LTE connectivity.

It still remains unknown when Samsung SGH-T899 available at T-Mobile because T-Mobile set to launch LTE service only next year. [Source]

(GSM Insider) - Finally the press image of the Samsung SGH-T699 is here as the release date expect on August 15. The Samsung Galaxy S Blaze Q is coming to T-Mobile. There are no confirmations from T-Mobile or Samsung regarding on this device. But the rumoured specs are 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB RAM, 16GB internal memory, 720p HD display, 1080p rear video capture, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, HSPA+ 42Mbps, and of course the five-row QWERTY keyboard.
