(GSM Insider) - T-Mobile USA Not Releasing Windows Phone 7.8 Update For Its Nokia Lumia 710.

When the Microsoft announced the Windows Phone 8, it also announced that all the devices running on Windows Phone 7 will not get the Windows Phone 8 update.

In order to compensate those Windows Phone 7 and Windows Phone 7.5 users, Microsoft decided to roll out the Windows Phone 7.8 as a compensation. Windows Phone 7.8 will only share about 80% of the features of Windows Phone 8. For example, the Windows Phone 7.8 also has the LiveTiles customization features.

Earlier today, T-Mobile USA dropped a huge bomb by confirming that the Nokia Lumia 710 will not get the Windows 7.8 update.

At this time, the Nokia Lumia 710 will not receive the software update. T-Mobile is committed to enhancing customers’ experience with our devices, including providing upgrades to the latest operating systems, and T-Mobile aims to deliver software upgrades when it will provide a better experience for our customers. We’ll share additional information on upgrades for the Nokia Lumia 710 when they are available. - T-Mobile USA. 

Since T-Mobile USA stated that "at this time" the device will not get the update, but who knows about the future. Perhaps the update still in works and not ready for release. You may ask why Nokia isn't releasing the update? Sorry to tell you that it is the carrier that responsible for the update.

On her left hand side, there are four different phones. One of them was the BlackBerry device and another three remained unknown as hard to guess from far. Perhaps one of the three devices is Android device. 

Look like the main mobile phone for Yingluck Shinawatra is the Nokia Lumia 920 since she put it on the right hand side while other devices were put together. The Windows Phone is definitely gaining its momentum in the market.

As you can see that there is a blue line at the middle of the Nokia Lumia 920's display. It's quite disappointing with the display since Nokia described it was the best display of smartphone.

The main point is not only one device that suffered from this "blue line" issue. Two Nokia Lumia 920 users from China already reported about the issue. The similarity between two devices is the blue line surfaced on the left part of the Nokia Lumia 920. But why this happened?

"Nokia is proud to be involved with this project, and we have deep roots in the field -- we first started working with graphene already in 2006," Nokia's CTO Henry Tirri said in a statement. "Since then, we have come to identify multiple areas where this material can be applied in modern computing environments. We've done some very promising work so far, but I believe the greatest innovations have yet to be discovered." Henry added.



Graphene is the world's thinnest substance as well as a far better conductor than the copper. It is bendable and transparent too. You can imagine if your mobile device is made from the world's hardest substance. Isn't very cool?

In the UK mobile phone market, 82% of devices are smartphones.

Higher quality. We were surprised by the high quality of streaming music from Nokia Music, even over a 2.5G connection. Nokia Music+ allows you to download music at eight times the existing quality. Plus, you can set rules to only download high quality when you’re on WiFi, for example.

Lyrics. Words to the songs you’re listening to, right on your Nokia Lumia. Either in a scrolling list, Karaoke-style format, or a display you can scroll up and down.

On your desktop. The Nokia Music+ subscription also gives you access to the service without your phone. A web-app gives you the ability to play Mixes on your computer, smart TV or other connected screens.
