Asus Padfone 2 vs Transphone 2 - Is Asus's New Padfone Copying Transphone From China?

(GSM Insider) - Days to go before Asus Padfone 2 event in Taipei and Milan, but the Asus Padfone 2 cause more attention even before its release to the market. First of all, Asus Padfone 2 appears in the Bloomberg's interview video. And now, there are rumours said that Asus Padfone 2 copied from the Transphone 2.

Transphone is a Padfone alike device which is manufactured by Chinese company CNMOBI. Transphone does not have any high tech specifications but only lower end specs. But it has the hybrid feature like the Asus Padfone. Transphone has a smartphone and a tablet dock station as well. It can works as a smartphone or works as a tablet too.

At the moment, the Transphone available in Chinese market is in the first image which is the first generation of Transphone. The second generation of Transphone is yet to release but it has appears in the image 2. It is shows that the employee of CNMOBI holding the Transphone 2.

Do you mind to compare the Transphone 2 and the Asus Padfone 2 that appears at the Bloomberg's video? From the back of both devices, both have the same slider feature. It is hard to determine who copying who at the moment because the Asus Padfone 2 is yet to announce by Asus.

Since it is just one day to go, it is almost impossible for Asus to change the design even it looks like the Transphone. Perhaps we will see another series of lawsuit coming soon which is related on the hybrid device.

Asus Denies Making $99 Google Nexus 7

(GSM Insider) - Recently, there are a lot of rumours stated that Google is preparing the "even" cheaper Nexus 7 tablet which costs only $99. And now, seems like this not going to happen in any near future.

According to latest news, Asus denies working on the Google Nexus 7 tablet which costs only $99. We knew that the Google Nexus 7 are made by Asus. The price is $199 which considers very cheap for an Android tablet. It is a bit illogical that Google preparing an "even" cheaper tablet.

An "even" cheaper Android tablet will certainly trigger the dissatisfaction among other manufacturers. This is because consumer will go for the cheap tablet instead of other expensive tablets in the market. Are you getting a cheap tablet? If yes, please search for other low end Android tablet.  [Digitimes.com]
