(GSM Insider) - Before that, Asus officially announced the Asus Padfone 2 event will be held on 16 October 2012 in Milan and Taipei. At that event, Asus will unveil the second generation of Padfone.

Asus Padfone 2 is a hybrid device that it can works as a smartphone and a tablet as well. It is surely the upgraded version of the original Asus Padfone. Just three days before the Padfone 2 event, Bloomberg able to get their hands on the device in an interview with the Asus CEO Jerry Chen.
At that interview, Bloomberg confirms the specifications of Asus Padfone 2. The Padfone 2 tablet station has a 10.1 inches HD display and the battery capacity is three times larger than the original Padfone. It brings longer battery life for the users. While the Asus Padfone 2 has a 4.7 inches HD display, the processor is a Snapdragon S4 PRO APQ8064 quad-core and the main camera is 13 mega-pixel shooter. The combination of the quad-core processor and the high resolution camera, you can certainly enjoying hi-res photo at your HD Padfone 2. Lets hope the Android version is 4.1 Jelly Bean.
