The launch of Huawei Ascend P2 at the Mobile World Congress 2013 is imminent as it will become the world's thinnest smartphone soon. But the downgraded Huawei Ascend P2 is coming as well, GSM Insider reported. 

According to sources from China, the Huawei Ascend P2 Mini will feature a smaller 4-inch display with lower resolution at 720p HD. The rear-facing camera of the Huawei Ascend P2 Mini is only 8-megapixels when compared to 13-megapixels of Huawei Ascend P2. But the LED flash and HDR features remain. 

For other specs, Huawei Ascend P2 Mini features the same processor (1.8GHz K3V2), same amount of RAM memory (1GB), same Android version 4.1 Jelly Bean and same Emotion UI like the Huawei Ascend P2. The battery of the Huawei Ascend P2 Mini is a 2200mAh.

Since the Huawei Ascend P2 is the main character of the Chinese company, the design of the Huawei Ascend P2 Mini will not as impressive as the bigger brother. Of course the price of the Huawei Ascend P2 Mini will cheaper than the flagship.
