(GSM Insider) - LG Optimus 4X HD Set To Get Android 4.1 Jelly Bean On Q1 2013.

Flagships like Samsung Galaxy S3 and HTC One X already received the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean months ago. But the LG Optimus 4X HD is still running on the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. This clearly showed that LG is kinda slow when releasing the update to its devices. 

According to an email from the LG representative, he stated that the LG Optimus 4X HD set to receive the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean in first quarter of 2012. So the Jelly Bean update should arrive by March 2013. From February 1st to March 31 is about 60 days to go. 

If this is through, the update will not bring the Jelly Bean but also brings Unlocked Bootloader together. That's even another good news for developers as we can expect more Custom ROMs coming soon. 

We knew that it has been a long waiting for LG Optimus 4X HD users around the world. At least we can give some hope that the Jelly Bean update is in working.
