According to famous "leaker", HTC M7 isn't the official name yet as it could feature other name.

HTC M7 is said to use the name of HTC One. The HTC One reminds us with the HTC One Series that include HTC One X, HTC One S and HTC One V. So the HTC M7 is simply another device under the HTC One Series.

If the HTC One is the official name of HTC M7 then it showed the lack of creativity of the Taiwanese company. The HTC One Series was launched a year and HTC set to use the name for its upcoming device? No way. Furthermore, the HTC M7 could be the game changer. Not sure whether the "HTC One" will able to help the company.
