(GSM Insider) - Windows Phone Is Now Selling Five Times Better Than Last Christmas, According to Microsoft CEO.
Although Microsoft did not take part at the CES 2013, but Microsoft CEO does make its appearance at the event. He appearance at the keynote of Qualcomm.
At the keynote event, Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer does provide some interesting stats on its Windows Phone. “Windows Phone was selling five times more devices than the same period last year,” Ballmer said.
From this statement, it indicates that Windows Phone enjoying growth. However, Steve Ballmer does not reveal the exact sales numbers of its Windows Phone devices.
This statement from the CEO definitely brings more confidence to the Windows Phone manufacturer in the market. It is just the matter of of time before Windows Phone becomes world's third mobile OS.
