Samsung Isn't Doing Well In Windows Phone Market

(GSM Insider) - Samsung Isn't Doing Well In Windows Phone Market.

Samsung might be the largest manufacturer in the world. Samsung is dominating in most of the countries around the world with its Samsung Galaxy lineup. But the world largest smartphone maker isn't impressive in the Windows Phone market.

In the latest stats from the United Kingdom, Nokia Lumia 920 ranked at number 5 while Nokia Lumia 820 ranked at number 10 on the smartphone sales list. But hardly see the Samsung ATIV S. So whats wrong with Samsung's Windows Phone?

The main reason is Samsung focusing on its Android flagships and not the Windows Phone. The advertisement of Samsung Galaxy S3 and Samsung Galaxy Note 2 can be seen everywhere. Samsung pushes hard on the advertising of two products. Thats why the Samsung Galaxy S3 is the best selling Android device while Samsung Galaxy Note 2 leading all the way in its category.

On the other hand, Samsung does not put enough effort to its Samsung ATIV S. Actually, the Samsung ATIV S has the advantage over the rivals like Nokia Lumia 920 and HTC 8X. But Samsung doesn't utilize it. But the chance has faded and Nokia Lumia 920 already leading the Windows Phone market and HTC 8X is performing well too.
