European Union Demands Huawei And ZTE Increase Pricing of Export Product

(GSM Insider) - European Union Demands Huawei And ZTE Increase Pricing of Export Product.

According to Karel De Gucht of European Union, Huawei and ZTE should follow the agreement and increase the export product price 29%. But Karel stated that Chinese companies reluctant to follow the agreement.

European Union thinks that Chinese government provides subsidy for both Huawei and ZTE. In May last year, European Union obtained proof that the Chinese government did provide subsidy to both of these companies to ensure their pricing is lower in the European market.

Karel De Gucht wants international organization to put more attention on the subsidy from the Chinese government. He wants to ensure fair competition exists between European and Chinese companies.
