(GSM Insider) - Rumour: Apple Interested To Acquire Social GPS company, Waze

According to Techcrunch, Apple looking forward for chances in acquire Social GPS company, Waze. Apple hopes that Waze able to solve its Apple Maps issues.


Waze is kinda popular among Android and iOS users. Its a social GPS which is different from the Google Maps and other traditional maps services. 

According to tipster, Apple and Waze already in negotiation stage. But nothing is agree yet at the moment. CEO Noam Bardin offers Waze with the price of $750 million, but Apple only interested to pay around $400 million only. 

Analyst stated that this is a mutual benefit deal for both Waze and Apple. It is hard for Waze resists the money from Apple. While Apple can use the technology and knowledge of Waze for its own Apple Maps.
