(GSM Insider) - Sony Xperia Z and Xperia X Are Sony Yuga and Sony Odin, Launch At CES 2013
The rumours regarding the Sony Yuga and Sony Odin continue days to days since both devices were pop-up in the air a few months back. Both are said to be among the first few quad-core smartphones from Sony Mobile. At the moment, Sony Mobile is yet to release any quad-core smartphone.
Sony Xperia Z L36h (could be L36i or L36a) is the upcoming flagship from Sony for 2013. The launch of Sony Xperia Z at CES 2013 is imminent. Sony set to launch this Sony Xperia Z in China and Taiwan on mid-January 2013. The Sony Xperia Z set to on sale before the lunar new year 2013.
Sony Xperia Z has another brother which is known as the Sony Xperia X. The model number is L35h which is similar like the L36h of Sony Xperia Z. Both Sony Xperia Z and Xperia X set to come with similar specs. Those specs are 5-inch 1080p Full HD IPS display, 13-megapixels camera, 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM and microSD expansion. Both are running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
How to differentiate between Sony Xperia Z and Xperia X? Sony Xperia X L35h does not come with water-proof, dust-proof and scratch-proof features. Furthermore, the design will be different as well. So the Sony Xperia X might not feature glass made cover. This is to ensure Sony Xperia X comes with cheaper price.
There are no news yet whether both Sony Xperia Z and Xperia X are launch together. But there will be at least 3 to 4 new smartphone from Sony. Sony Xperia Z is the flagship from Sony on 1H 2013.
