(GSM Insider) - Samsung Set To Launch First Tizen OS Powered Smartphone At MWC 2013

There have been speculations on Samsung next flagship smartphone. The Samsung next flagship smartphones are said to be the Samsung I9500 and I9505 with LTE. The main discussion is these two devices are going to power by Android or Tizen OS?


The answer is Tizen OS. The news on Tizen OS is getting more from day to day. If you never heard of Tizen OS, let us explain to you. Tizen OS is an operating system which is based on Linux. Tizen OS developed this operating system with Linux Foundation and Intel. Tizen OS was set up after Bada and MeeGo were not popular among smartphone users. After Samsung and Intel, Asus and Acer joined the development on Tizen OS. 

Earlier today, Japanese Newspaper reported that Samsung and NTT Docomo joined hands in the partnership of Tizen OS smartphone. NTT Docomo will be the first Japanese company to get the Tizen OS device. It is said that Samsung set to launch the device in Japan and global market at the same time. 

Last week, GSM Insider reported that the Samsung GT-I9500 and GT-I9505 are two of the upcoming smartphones from Samsung and both might run on Tizen OS. Samsung is set to unveil the Tizen OS devices and Windows Phones at the MWC 2013 in Barcelona on February 2013. 

With the news on Tizen OS surfaced recently, the future of Samsung Galaxy S4 remains unclear. There are no news whether Samsung going to unveil the Samsung Galaxy S4 on which date.
