Microsoft Set To Ditch Windows Live Messenger And Focusing On Skype

(GSM Insider) - Skype and Windows Live Messenger are both offering same service. After Microsoft acquired Skype, there were rumours on Microsoft to give up on Windows Live Messenger and focusing on the Skype. In the past, Windows Live Messenger also known as the MSN Messenger.


In the past months, Microsoft already linked Skype account and Microsoft Account. So that users able to log in or sign-in Skype with just one Microsoft account. Microsoft decided to merge all into one Microsoft account just like how Google did on its Google account. 

With Microsoft account, users can easily log in the Skype. In this point, the Windows Live Messenger no longer useful as before. We might see Microsoft announced the plans to ditch Live Messenger as one of its rebranding plans.
