Verizon Officially Rolls Out 4.0 ICS Update For Motorola Droid Bionic

(GSM Insider) - Good news! Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update is coming to your Motorola Droid Bionic device. Perhaps this is not the latest Android version, but the update is always better than the current version in your device. isn't it?


Today is the day when Verizon Wireless will release the 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich to the Motorola Droid Bionic.

Official announcement of Verizon:

Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich, operating system will begin being pushed to customers in phases starting Oct. 19 for DROID BIONIC by Motorola devices.

Ice Cream Sandwich includes upgraded functionality and new features, enhancing the usability of the DROID BIONIC. Direct Access Lock takes users to the camera, text messages, keypad or unlock screen, providing direct access to the user’s most accessed functions. The Enhanced Notifications Window features a new swipe to dismiss functionality. Additionally, creating folders is easy by dropping one app on top of another.
