(GSM Insider) - Earlier today, Evleaks posted a photo on Twitter which is about the Huawei Ascend W1 smartphone. It is the upcoming Windows Phone 8 device from Huawei.
In the past, the leaked handsets from Evleaks are quite reliable. Therefore, we believed that the real Huawei Ascend W1 could look similar like the image above. From the overall design, it is not really similar like the Nokia Lumia 920 and HTC 8X. The design of Huawei Ascend W1 looks a bit more elegant.
From the colour, it uses the sky blue and not the cyan blue of Nokia Lumia series. It clearly shows the Windows Phone logo at the back. It is a full touch screen smartphone as the three button in the front is not physical button.
The Huawei Ascend W1 is said to come with a 4 inches display with 800 x 400 resolution. The processor is 1.2GHz Snapdragon S4 Dual-Core. The RAM is 512MB while the ROM is 4GB. It has a 5 mega-pixel shooter and VGA front camera. The battery capacity is 2000mAh. Off course the operating system is Windows Phone 8.
According to Huawei executive, the Huawei Ascend W1 is priced below 2000 YUAN.
