(GSM Insider) - We just reported that the Huawei preparing a new device which is known as the Huawei Ascend Mate. It is said to be the direct competitor for Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and LG Optimus VU 2 in the phablet market. It has an amazing 6.1 inches Full HD display.

Chinese Olympics Winner Ye Shi Wen is the one who started this thing that related to Huawei upcoming new device. She posted a photo which is took by the Huawei mysterious device. From the photo, it looks very clear. Perhaps the Weibo has compressed the photo quality and it is difficult to determine what is the camera quality. From the photo, it is expects that the Huawei Ascend Mate to come with at least 8 mega-pixel camera.
Rumours stated that Huawei Ascend Mate has a 6.1 inches of display as the resolution is 1080p Full HD. It is powered by 1.8GHz Hisilicon K3V3 quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, at least 32GB of ROM and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with Emotion UI 1.5. The battery capacity is around 4000mAh.
Seems like the Huawei Ascend Mate is imminent after Huawei high position executive confirms this device is coming soon. Either this is not an official name or the specs are not the same in Huawei's plan. [source]
