70% of iPhone 5 Sold In Hong Kong Going To Resell In China Market

(GSM Insider) - Hong Kong is also the first batch to receive iPhone 5 as the iPhone5 on sales in Hong Kong today across the Apple stores there. We can see crowds around the Apple stores in Hong Kong.

As the world's largest population country, China is not the first of a few countries to get the iPhone 5. It is a weird strategy from Apple not to include China in the list. At the moment, only China Telecom and China Unicom show interest to offer iPhone 5. World's largest carrier China Mobile is not going to offer iPhone 5 in the near future due to some issues. China Mobile accounted for 70% of subscribers in China. So how are those using China Mobile going to get iPhone 5?

The answer is Hong Kong. According to analyst, 70 per cent of iPhone 5 selling in Hong Kong are landing in China. This is because there are large demand in China market. Since Hong Kong is the first to get iPhone 5 ahead of China, those sellers who wish to earn more directly purchased the iPhone 5 from Hong Kong and sell in the China.  [Source]
