(GSM Insider) - Today, XiaoMi officially announce their next-gen XiaoMi smartphone - the XiaoMi Phone 2 小米手机2 at the event. The event was held at Beijing 798, China. This is a 720p display and quad-core smartphone with the price of 1999 Yuan and coming soon to China market on October 2012.
Wow! The XiaoMi Phone 2 specs look very impressive. It comes with a large 4.3 inch (Opps! not the size of phablet yet!) with 720p (720 x 1280 pixels) IPS touchscreen. This is HD quality! While in the inner parts, the XiaoMi Phone 2 equipped with 1.5 GHz Qualcomm APQ 8064 quad-core processor. The RAM of XiaoMi Phone 2 is similar with the Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE Korea Version - 2GB RAM. While the inner ROM are 16GB large in capacity.
For the camera, XiaoMi Phone 2 comes with 8MP rear camera and 2MP front camera. What so impressive about the camera is both front and rear camera support 1080p HD video recording! (WOW again!)
You might think with such powerful specs, the battery life certainly will be short. But you are wrong. The XiaoMi Phone 2 comes with 2000mAh battery and you can even upgraded to 3000mAH battery if you want longer battery life for your XiaoMi Phone 2.
