(GSM Insider) - At the moment, only Korean able to get their hands on the LG Optimus VU. The American still waiting for the LG Intuition to arrive at the Verizon. LG Intuition is the Verizon's LG Optimus VU. And now, the LG Mobile announced the second generation of LG Optimus VU - LG Optimus 2 (II).
The LG Optimus 2 (II) to remain same 5 inch display just like the predecessor. LG Mobile does not release much information on the specs but certainly mentions on the features. LG Optimus 2 (II) comes with an IR Blaster. LG Optimus 2 (II) set to come with integrated LG's Q Remote feature. This feature allows the device to act as a universal remote for hundreds of consumer electronics items, including set-top boxes, audio systems and air conditioners. The sensor/app combo will work not only with LG products but any IR-receiving piece of electronic as according to LG Mobile.
At the moment, the smartphone with integrated IR blasters seems very interested for some consumers. This would be another niche market for LG to tap. [Source]
