Google Set To Cut 20% Jobs And Close One Third Of Offices of Motorola



(GSM Insider) - This would be the first major movement by Google since Google purchased Motorola Mobility earlier this year. With the rise of Samsung from Korea and Huawei from China, Motorola hardly compete with them in the international market. Although all three companies focusing on the Android devices, but the Motorola devices remain popular in the United States but not worldwide. 

According to the New York Times, this would be the first movement from Google to reinvent Motorola. Motorola just announced that they will cut 20% of jobs and close a third of its 94 offices. Google aimed to bring a new Motorola that with smaller team and able to focusing on high end devices. Motorola set to cut their devices every year as Google not planning to flood the market with Motorola devices. So probably Motorola to produce some of Google's Nexus devices. But Google said no biased toward Motorola or other OEMs.  [Source]
