XiaoMi Phone 2 has high display resolution, larger ROM storage, latest Android version 4.1 and better quality front camera. The RAM for both are the same at 2GB and the rear camera quality also are the same at 8 mega-pixel. The K3V2 quad-core processor is produced by Huawei while the processor of XiaoMi Phone 2 / Mi2 is the popular Snapdragon S4 PRO. From the processor aspect, Snapdragon S4 PRO has the upper hand over K3V2. From the pricing, Huawei Honor 2 Quad-Core is slight cheaper than the XiaoMi Phone 2 / Mi 2.

XiaoMi Phone 3 / Mi3 Concept From China, Will It Feature MIUI 5.0?

(GSM Insider) - The XiaoMi Phone 2 / Mi2 set to on sale in China after today, 30 October 2012. It is one of the most powerful device in the market at the moment. One of the XiaoMi fans posted a XiaoMi Phone 3 / Mi3 concept that designed by himself on his Weibo. This is definitely a concept device.

According to our friend in China, the possible specs of XiaoMi Phone 3/ Mi3 also revealed by the XiaoMi fan as well. The display size is 4.5 inches with 1080p full HD resolution. The ppi is as high as 480. The thickness of  XiaoMi Phone 3/ Mi3 is 5.1mm only. XiaoMi needs a lot of hard work if they want to release such thin device. 

The processor of  XiaoMi Phone 3/ Mi3 might be 22nm processor has 8 cores. The camera is a 12 mega-pixel shooter while there will be two versions of battery - 2500mAh and 5000mAh. The Android version is 5.0. 

This is just a pure concept design from a XiaoMi. We have little doubt whether XiaoMi able to design a smartphone with so thick of design. Furthermore, the Android version still remains unknown. It could be Android 4.3 or Android 4.4 or Android 5.0. No news yet on the upcoming possible Android. Anyway, just another nice design from fans.

XiaoMi Phone 2 With TD-SCDMA Network Supports Coming On Later This Year

(GSM Insider) - Yesterday, XiaoMi officially launched two new smartphones - XiaoMi Phone 2 (Mi2 or 小米手机2) and XiaoMi Phone 1S (M1S or 小米手机1S). At the event, XiaoMi officially confirmed that the XiaoMi Phone 2 and XiaoMi Phone 1S coming to China Unicom and China Telecom on September. In addition, XiaoMi Phone 2 with TD-SCDMA network supports coming soon on later this year.

At the event, XiaoMi CEO Lei Jun says that the XiaoMi Phone 1S for China Unicom and China Telecom Coming on next month. He also added that the discussion with China Mobile on the TD-SCDMA version still on going but no more news from the CEO himself.
