A few days before, GSM Insider reported that Acer V360 received approval from the Chinese authorities. In other words, this first Acer brand Jelly Bean smartphone going to on sale soon in China. And now, more images on the Acer V360 handset leaked to the air. 

Acer V360 comes with 4.5-inch qHD display with 960 X 540 pixels resolution. It is powered by 1GHz of dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM as well. The Android version is 4.1 Jelly Bean. It has 5-megapixels rear camera that suitable for daily usage. Other features included DTS sound, supports dual-SIM and WAPI wireless feature. 

The price of Acer V360 is said to be around $300 which is equivalent to RMB $1870 in China. Acer V360 available in both white and black colours. Since China was the first country where this devices was spotted, it could be the first market for this Acer V360 before heading to other regions.

An Acer smartphone just approved by Chinese authority. It is the Acer V360. The Acer V360 is the first Acer smartphone with Jelly Bean. However, the specs is not impressive as well. 

Acer V360 comes with 4.5-inch display with 960 x 540 pixels. It powered by 1GHz dual-core processor. But there are no information yet on the RAM and internal memory. Acer V360 has 5-megapixels camera and VGA front camera.

Since it approves by Chinese authority, so it is going to on sale in Chinese market soon. The price is around $300.

Acer Iconia Tab A220 Spotted At Benchmark, With Jelly Bean And Quad-Core

(GSM Insider) - A mysterious Acer tablet spotted at GL Benchmark, it is known as the Acer Iconia Tab A220. From the name, it is the successor of the A210 which means it has the better specs than the Acer Iconia Tab A210. It is surprise that the full name of the tablet spotted at the benchmark.

There are a few information that leaked at the benchmark result. The processor in Acer Iconia Tab A220 is the Tegra 3 quad-core processor. The maximum frequency of the Tegra 3 is 1.3GHz which is lower than other Tegra 3. The Tegra 3 in HTC One X is 1.5GHz while the one in HTC One X+ is 1.7GHz. This could be a smartphone from Acer to prolong the battery life. The benchmark result also revealed that Acer Iconia Tab A220 preloaded with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. 

At the moment, there are not much information available for the Acer Iconia Tab A220. Since it is the successor of Acer Iconia Tab A210, the specs will be better.

Exclusive: Acer To Launch Intel Powered Smartphone With Cloud Service By 2012

(GSM Insider) - When you think about Acer, it reminds you of laptop and tablet. Acer Iconia Tab tablet is one of the best selling tablet series in the market. However, sometimes Acer did release smartphone which is known as the CloudMobile series and the Liquid series. Things might change soon as Acer set to introduce "Intel Inside" smartphone.

Acer could become another phone maker to use Intel Atom processor after Lava of India, Orange of France, ZTE of China, Motorola of United States. This is confirms by the Acer VP Peter Shieh. According to Peter Shieh, Acer set to introduce new smartphones that powered by Intel Medfield processor and comes with Cloud Service.

In other words, the Intel powered Acer smartphone could be similar with the current Acer CloudMobile. Perhaps the main difference is the type of processor. The Android version in the smartphone might be the latest version as well. Acer is the first Taiwanese manufacturer to use Intel processor in its smartphone. 

In the past, Acer and Intel partnered for the laptop products so there are no problems when came into the mobile processor. The popularity of Intel Z2460 processor on the growth as more manufacturers interested in it.
